Membership Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the "Income With Intention" membership program ("Membership") operated by Black Income Creators ("BIC", "we", "us", "our"). By joining the Membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not subscribe to or use our Membership.

1. About Us

Black Income Creators (BIC) is a community-led initiative offering business, finance, and personal development content and networking opportunities. We are not a registered limited company.

2. Eligibility

To join the Membership, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age;

• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract;

• Reside in the United Kingdom or a country where such membership is legally permitted.

3. Membership Benefits

Benefits may include:

• Access to digital content (courses, workshops, directories, downloads);

• Invitations to virtual events or sessions;

• Private community access;

• Special offers or bonuses.

We reserve the right to update, change, or remove features at any time without prior notice.

4. Payments and Billing

4.1 Payment Processor

All payments are securely processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to be bound by Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

4.2 Fees and Billing Cycle

Membership fees are billed on a [monthly/yearly] basis (as selected at checkout). All fees are in GBP (£) and inclusive of applicable UK VAT, where required.

4.3 Renewal

Your Membership will automatically renew unless cancelled before your next billing date. 

4.4 Failed Payments

Failed payments are automatically managed by Stripe & Payhip. In some cases, we reserve the right to manually retry a failed payment using the payment details provided at the time of signup.

5. Cooling-Off Period and Refunds

5.1 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

It is your responsibility to manage your subscription through your Income With Intention Membership Dashboard to ensure cancellation is processed and further charges via Stripe are avoided.

In accordance with UK consumer law, you are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of your initial Membership purchase. If you cancel within this period, you will receive a full refund, provided you request it in writing via email to blackincomecreators@gmail.com within the 14-day window.

This refund is only available once per individual. If you cancel, rejoin, and request a second refund, it will not be honoured.

5.2 Refunds After Cooling-Off Period

No refunds are provided after the 14-day period, including for partially used billing cycles, unless required by law.

6. Cancellation Policy

To cancel your Membership and stop future billing:

• You must cancel via your Income With Intention Membership dashboard

• Cancellations made solely by email may not prevent future charges.

• You remain responsible for any charges incurred if cancellation is not completed through your Income With Intention Membership dashboard

7. Intellectual Property

All content provided through the Membership — including videos, PDFs, images, course materials, and branding — remains the property of BIC or its content creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share any materials without written permission.

8. Member Conduct

By joining the Membership, you agree:

• Not to use the platform for unlawful or abusive purposes;

• To treat fellow members with respect and courtesy;

• Not to misrepresent your business or qualifications;

• Not to share login access or account credentials with others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations without refund.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under UK law, BIC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

• Business interruption or loss of income;

• Inability to access content;

• Platform downtime or third-party service failures.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding any claim.

10. No Guarantee of Income

We provide educational tools and networking opportunities only. We do not guarantee any income, financial success, or specific outcomes as a result of your Membership.

11. Privacy

We handle your personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Membership at our discretion, especially in cases of:

• Payment failure;

• Policy violations;

• Abuse of refund policy.

Termination does not entitle you to a refund beyond the statutory 14-day cooling-off period.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If changes are material, we will notify members by email and post the updated Terms online. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
